WHOA. What an honor! The good folks at Petrolicious just published their video feature about the Cipher Garage AE86 twins, and it mentions our event – 86FEST on Sept 27 in Fontana.
I can’t believe how many shares, impressions, and reposts this video has received!
According to Aaron McKenzie, producer at Petrolicious, this “Living The 86 Life” video has received more shares and impressions in its first 24 hours than any other video they published in the past 6 months!!!
Check the video out on the Petrolicious website!
In the first 24 hours since the video was posted, it even hit the front pages of mainstream automotive media outlets like Road&Track, Jalopnik, Autoblog, specialty automotive sites like Japanese Nostalgic Car, and even popped up on massively popular non-automotive endemic streetwear/style websites like HYPEBEAST!
What an amazing, flattering experience this was, being chosen to be the subject of a Petrolicious film. Even though I didn’t get a chance to tidy up my engine bay before they shot the cars! =/
THANK YOU ALL – especially the master filmmakers at Petrolicious – Aaron McKenzie, Jeremy Heslup, Davey Gray, and Nadia Fugazza for making this happen… and big thanks to Robby Caballes from RSPEC Auto for always keeping my cars running perfectly, and for closing his shop for 2 days to help me drive these cars while we were filming! It has been such an honor, and I appreciate ALL the positive comments and support that the film has been attracting!
Anyway, here’s an embed of the video on YouTube (watch below)…
